As part of our drive to put Westbury Packaging at the top of the leader board in the South West for both quality and customer service, we have introduced fresh expertise to our manufacturing department and the results in quality are truly impressive.
The expertise comes in the form of Gabriel Ciubotariu who has been employed as the new team leader for our case maker machine. Gabriel brings with him over 18 years’ experience working with similar machines to our Dong Fang Topra in both Eastern Europe and the UK. He is now passing on this in-depth knowledge to our enthusiastic operatives, who already thought they knew everything about the machine!
The quality we are now getting on print, finish and form is nothing less than first-rate. Gabriel is passionate about his work and puts his achievements on quality down to three things: Attention to detail, good maintenance & setting and passion to do a great job for the client . He explains how he does it:
The machine will only run well and produce the best possible product if everyone in the team understands their role and their position within the team during running and set up – everyone must participate. With the correct setting the machine can run at high speeds, without stopping or affecting quality. This means we can produce a great product for our client at a good price. With good, regular maintenance we can avoid breakdowns and make sure we are always able to supply our clients with their product when they need it.”
